Dilvin Yasa

Dilvin Yasa is an Australian writer, author and travel journalist with more than two decades' experience writing about travel, parenting, wellness, food and the beautifully messy business of being human. Her features have appeared in publications around the world, and her travels have taken her across the globe, from the wilds of Mongolia where she mastered sheep shearing with scissors, to Antarctica where a 'playful' leopard seal treated her like a chew toy.  Despite hating the cold, polar regions are a particular passion point and Dilvin recently ticked off her bucket list dream of seeing a fat and jolly polar bear galloping along the pack ice just off the coast of Svalbard. Now she's setting her sights on becoming Australia's first polar correspondent, although her husband and two daughters are somewhat less enthusiastic about the prospect.
