Silversea Cruises is set to start operating the luxurious Crystal Endeavor – to be rebranded Silver Endeavor – with reports the line has purchased the vessel, according to Cruise Industry News.
The cruise line has already filed to trademark the new name, Silver Endeavor with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, all but confirming the move.We could see Endeavor sailing for Silversea as soon as the end of this year, with the ship currently sitting in Gibraltar and the 2022/2023 Antarctica season approaching.ย Silversea, owned by Royal Caribbean, had previously made clear its intent to increase capacity through building new ships and this acquisition will offer a quicker way to increase its Polar region offerings.Crystal Endeavor has just a short Iceland season and a few Antarctica cruises under its belt, before taking a break from sailing when Crystal Cruises went into administration at the start of this year.ย The luxurious vessel is the world’s largest ice class expedition yacht and takes 200-guests, itโs noted for being extremely spacious and its Polar Class 6 rating means it can get into the most uninhabited and rugged corners of the earth.
Crystal Cruises is continuing its resurgence with the announcement that it has ordered another ocean-ship from the renowned Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri.
She's the most specious ship yet from luxury line Oceania Cruises. James Sitters tells Rose Kelly and Peter Lynch what's on board the new class of ship, including restaurants, spas and suites.
