In Short:

Hot off the heels of being voted the number one cruise line by Cruise Passenger readers, Oceania has released its 2028 and 2029 sailings.

  • Oceania has released its sailing program for both the 2028 and 2029 seasons.
  • This will see the arrival of Oceania Marina to Aussie shores, an exciting new ship for Aussie cruisers.
  • The luxury line is making our region one of its major destinations.

Oceania has released its 2028 and 2029 sailings, and the new program features more than 230 destinations, ranging from quick week-long trips right up to an 180-day world cruise.

The release of two full years of sailings at the same time means there’s plenty available to book and plenty of deals around, with booking already open now.

Oceania recently declared itself a “luxury ” line. Its famous “Best Cuisine at Sea” has been joined by a new slogan: The joy of travelling well”.

The line switched to an adults-only model to make clear its priority on sophistication and elegance as core elements of the Oceania experience.

Most itineraries in Australia have a price range of about $550 to $650 per night, but this includes more inclusions, elevated dining and more immersive itineraries.

In Australia, Oceania’s local season will feature Oceania Vista from October 2027 to January 2027. This will switch up to Oceania Marina for the 2027/28 season.

However, it will be more of just the 2028 season, as Marina will be on our shores from January to March.

Marina will sail a 14-day sailing from Sydney to Auckland, before sailing the same two weeks back to Sydney. There will also be two sailings between Bali and Sydney, with the two-week Sydney to Bali sailing being the pick of the deals, starting from about $7000.

“This new, expansive collection reflects our passion for immersive travel opportunities and offers guests the chance to explore a little further with more depth thanks to more than 60 overnight stays. Launching sailings for 2028 and 2029 underscores our commitment to giving guests and travel advisors the confidence and time to plan the journeys that truly matter,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises.

“From the historic harbours of the Mediterranean to the remote fjords of New Zealand, each sailing reflects our belief that the world’s greatest destinations deserve to be experienced, not simply visited.”

Other 2028 and 2029 highlights

  • The itineraries feature a total of more than 60 overnight stays, focusing on longer and more immersive stays in destinations such as Copenhagen, Bangkok and Lisbon, as well as Bali, which is perfect for Aussie cruisers.
  • You can take on an epic sailing from Alaska to Japan on Oceania Riviera, an Aussie favourite. For a sailing that brings extreme variety between landscapes and culture, this is the best bet.
  • Oceania Aurelia will sail her first-ever world cruise. The smaller ship takes less than 500 passengers at a time, having everyone feel special as they sail 180-days around the world. The world cruise leaves from Miami or Los Angeles and eventually ends up in New York.
  • Oceania has its roots in the Mediterranean and considers the region to be its specialty. To celebrate this, Oceania Allura will sail an extended Mediterranean season that goes right into the winter, sailing from March until November. This offers the chance to enjoy some of the worlds most famous destinations without crowds and from a different perspective.
