- Cunard has announced its 2028 cruise program, based mostly around Europe.
- Highlights for the 2028 program include all four Cunard ships meeting up together in Liverpool, and a special program of back-to-back sailings that allows cruisers to try out all four Cunard ships.
- Other itinerary highlights include Mediterranean, Transatlantic and Northern European voyages.
Cunard has rolled out its 2028 program which will span across 190 voyages in 36 countries. There are season highlights that include the meeting of the four Queens in Liverpool as well as Queen-to-Queen sailings.
Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said: “Our new voyage collection is one of the most exciting programmes we’ve ever launched. From the historic moment all four Queens meet in Liverpool on 16 May 2028 to the extraordinary breadth of destinations we will visit. We have thoughtfully curated these voyages to give our guests more time in port, and the chance to explore the world with the signature elegance and sense of occasion that defines Cunard.”
2028 Cunard season highlights
The four Queens celebration
- In Liverpool, on May 16, 2028, all four ships of Cunard’s fleet will meet up together on the River Mersey.
- Celebrations will be had onboard and on shore to toast to the fleet coming together as one.
Queen-to-Queen sailings
- Cunard has specially designed some of its voyages to be taken back-to-back, while jumping between different ships.
- This means you can sail consecutively for 40-nights from Southampton to Rome, and try out all four Cunard ships at the same time.
- The four voyages together are a 12-night Norwegian Fjords sailings on Queen Victoria, a four-night Europe short break on Queen Mary 2, a 16-night Northern Europe exploration on Queen Anne and an eight-night Southampton to ROme sailing on Queen Elizabeth to finish it off.
- Prices start from around $360 per night.
Other sailings
- Queen Elizabeth will sail around the Mediterranean through the northern hemisphere summer, with some highlights including a first ever visit to Bari, and an overnight stay in Istanbul with special night time activities planned.
- Queen Mary 2 will sail a series of trans-atlantic crossings between the USA and Europe.
- Queen Victoria will have a special focus on Scandinavia, Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, offering plenty of variety in its European sailings.
- Queen Anne will sail most of her Europe sailings out of Southampton, offering seven-night sailings out to everywhere from Norway’s fjords to France and Spain’s best beaches.
