Four Season I, the very first luxury vessel for Four season, is beginning sea trials. The ship’s inauguration has seen some delays, but it is now set to debut on March 20, 2026, where it will cruise for nine-nights from Malaga to Malta.
Ben Trodd, CEO of Four Seasons Yachts told Latte: “We’ve been talking about it now for almost six years. which is really exciting, and to really see it coming to life in the flesh now…, she truly is utterly beautiful.”
The soon-to-sail ship measures at 679 feet long and will accomodate 180 guests across 95 suites. It comes with the luxury you would expect, with 11 different food and drink venues, a spa area, large pool deck, and opulently-fitted suites. The ships will feature a 1:1 staff to guest ratio, meaning there are as many crew as passengers onboard.
The ship boasts to offer “50 per cent more living space per guest than currently available in an all-suite nautical setting, with the most expansive entry-level suites beginning at 581 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor living space. “
For now, bookings can only be made through specialist travel advisors or going the waitlist which can be found on the Four Seasons Yachts website.
A seven-day sailing starts from USD$25,000, about AUD$38,000. This rate is per cabin, not per person.
Other luxury hotel chains have also been bringing their offerings to the seas. Ritz-Carlton now has three luxury yachts exploring the oceans, and Aman and Orient Express both have upcoming ships that are set to sail for the first time in 2026 and 2027.
