Regent Seven Seas Cruises will build a new luxury ship scheduled for completion in 2033.

The third Prestige-class ship will be built by Italian shipbuilder, Fincantieri following Seven Seas Prestige to be launched in 2026 and a sister ship in 2030.

The new luxury ship will be able to accommodate 822 passengers, offering one of the highest space-per-guest ratios in the luxury cruise industry.

โ€œThis newbuild order continues our measured, strategic expansion within the luxury space, providing guests with yet another way to experience the unrivaled aboard the worldโ€™s most luxurious fleet,โ€ said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. โ€œIt reflects our confidence in the growing demand for Regentโ€™s best-in-class offering and reaffirms our long-standing partnership with Fincantieri, one rooted in craftsmanship and shared pursuit of perfection.โ€

Fincantieri said that the newbuild reaffirms the shared commitment to innovation and sustainability at sea especially in the ultra-luxury sector.

โ€œThis latest contract confirms the trust NCLH places in Fincantieriโ€™s expertise to deliver innovative, sustainable and exquisitely crafted ships that meet the evolving aspirations of the luxury cruise market,โ€ said Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO of Fincantieri.

The new ship will have all-balcony suites with the ultra-luxury Skyview Regent Suite and the Grand Loft Suites. Dining options will span 11 venues including all-time favourites Chartreuse, Prime 7 and Pacific Rim plus a new Mediterranean-inspired Azure restaurant.
