- Regent Seven Seas Prestige Sky Suite is the biggest at sea.
- At $40,000 a night, it’s also the most expensive.
- Yet half have already sold – and the ship doesn’t sail until December 2026.
Australians have joined the world-wide rush to book Regent Seven Seas Prestige, Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ new ship which has the world’s largest suite.
Scheduled for its inaugural sailing in December 2026, the ultra-luxe vessel is an all-balcony, all-suite ship which boasts some of the most luxurious areas at sea.
Lisa Pile, Vice President, Sales & General Manager, APAC, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, told Cruise Passenger: “Even with over a year to go before her inaugural sailing, Seven Seas Prestige is already generating significant excitement.
“The ship’s debut has garnered enthusiastic support from travel advisors, widespread media coverage, and strong industry buzz—all of which reinforce its status as a new benchmark in luxury cruising.”

Bookings have already shattered records. The launch of the new ship broke the previous record for bookings on a launch day by 26 per cent.
Even the Skyview Regent Suite, which starts from $40,000 a night, has already sold out on six of the 13 available voyages aboard the new Seven Seas Prestige.
This is also a record for the line, as the best performance of a top-tier product that the cruise line has ever seen on the launch day of a new ship.
Pile attributes the demand for the Seven Seas Prestige primarily to Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ established customer base.
She explained: “Regent Seven Seas Cruises has cultivated one of the most loyal ultra-luxury customer bases in the industry, a testament to the brand’s consistent delivery of an unrivalled cruising experience.”
She adds: “Our repeat guests, who make up over 50 per cent of our clientele, trust Regent to exceed their expectations every time they sail.”
The Skyview Regent Suite on the Seven Seas Prestige is presented as a premier accommodation option, described as “The Most Exclusive Address at Sea”.
It spans 817 square meters and includes features such as ocean views, a private spa bath, an in-suite elevator, a fully equipped gym, a formal dining area, and a glass-enclosed bar.

Guests in the Skyview Regent Suite are provided with private access to The Study, a dining room for up to 12 guests, and a personal driver in every port of call. Seven out of 13 available itineraries for the Skyview Regent Suite have been booked – and according to Pile, interest from Australia’s high net worth individuals is running hot.
Pile maintains the Sky Suite is great value.
“Regent continues to offer exceptional value when considering all that is included—especially at the Skyview level. This suite caters perfectly to the growing demand from affluent families and multigenerational travellers seeking shared, high-end experiences at sea.
“Spacious accommodations and personalised excursions create lasting memories for discerning guests of all ages.
“Today’s luxury traveller is less focused on price and more invested in bespoke, immersive, and deeply personal journeys. The Skyview Regent Suite delivers just that—positioning itself as a compelling alternative to even the world’s most exclusive land-based resorts and private jet experiences.”

Australian travellers seek out ultra luxury
Pile maintained that Australians were increasingly extending their journeys.
“Australian travellers are increasingly opting for extended European cruise holidays, typically ranging from 14 to 21 nights—or even combining back-to-back sailings—to maximise the value of long-haul travel to far-flung destinations.
“These longer itineraries appeal especially to retirees, semi-retired travellers, and entrepreneurs who benefit from the flexibility of working remotely while at sea, thanks to Regent’s high-speed Starlink WiFi available across the fleet.”
She added: “In addition to the length of voyages, there’s growing interest in cruising outside the peak summer seasons, with many Australians choosing to sail during April–May and September–October with the benefits of fewer crowds, cooler climates, and good value for money when considering airfare and pre- or post-land based packages.”
