Editor-in-Chief,

Royal Caribbean this morning announced from the UK it was going into air travel.

A new plane shows the RCI livery, along with the news that the innovative line has incorporated some of its signature ship designs, includingย  a “slide in the sky” in its cabin and a Bionic Bar, as well as an “ultimate Family Suite” and the Ripcord iFly skydiving simulator.

UK and Ireland managing director Ben Bouldin said: โ€œWe believe that every step of our guestsโ€™ holiday should be extraordinary and when the skyโ€™s the limit, launching an aircraft was the natural next step! Some of our well-known and much-loved favourites have been ingeniously integrated, including the worldโ€™s first slide in the sky, and we look forward to the latest addition to our fleet taking to the skies in 2022.โ€

Guests who called for bookings were politely told to look at the date.
