European cruise line MSC announced it would be adding some bling to the MSC Bellissima and decking an entire stateroom in Swarovski crystals.

The new luxurious stateroom, which will be located in the VIP MSC Yacht Club, will feature 700,000 individual crystallised furniture including bedside tables, sideboard and the in-room coffee table.

Other crystallised features are custom-designed wall sconces and the interior artwork of the stateroom. The door numbering will also be bejewelled so guests can easily find their ornate cabin.

MSC Cruises Executive Chairman Pierfrancesco Vago described the collaboration as a “symbol of sophistication onboard MSC Cruises ships.”

In addition to the new cabin and the 96 breath-taking steps with more than 61,000 crystals from Swarovski on board MSC Bellissima, other details include crystal detailed wallpaper in the MSC Yacht Club and a crystallised Active Panel illuminated by custom LED with 500,000 crystals per sqm built into the design of the Champagne Bar to add an extra touch of refinement to the sophisticated bar on deck 7.

The new crystal cabin has been developed in collaboration with Swarovski and DE JORIO DESIGN.

Guests wishing to stay in the dazzling cabin number 16018 will need to book early to ensure availability but will be pleased to discover that this marvel is available at no extra cost and will match other MSC Yacht Club cabin prices. The cabin will be available to book from mid November.

Prices start from $3,929 per person, twin share for Yacht Club cabins.
