Overall I felt that the cruise on the Golden Princess offers excellent value for money. The staff are exemplary and the standard of service in all departments is highly professional. Cabin was spacious and well appointed.
On boarding we were met with the most beautiful music, a string quartet in the Atrium, from then on we found that the music and entertainment was magnificent. The restaurants could not be faulted.
The Princess crew is always smiling and obliging. Sea days offered so many varied activities e.g. choir, bridge, destination lectures, nutrition lectures, exercise classes and food demonstrations.
Loved the life on the Dawn Princess. Our first cruise to celebrate my 60th birthday, a far more memorable option than a party at home. I was presented with a beautiful little cake the day of my birthday, staff sang to me and treated me like royalty.
We sailed on Golden Princess in a mini suite. It was the first time we had been in such a large cabin but we thought that being a 31 day cruise it was worth it and it was.
The service, food and entertainment on the Sea Princess was as good and often better than we have enjoyed on our numerous cruises during the past 20 years.
Golden Princess is the best Princess ship to be cruising out of Australian waters at the moment. The moment we stepped into our mini suite I was impressed, the size and layout were great and the glass of bubbly was a real treat.
Hear the hilarious stories of life aboard the world's most luxurious fleet, including how nine men "mooned" BON VOYAGE from the San Francisco Bridge as the ship set out to sea.
