You will also be taken to view British artist Bruce Munro’s breathtakingly beautiful, solar-powered Field of Light installation where 50,000 tiny illuminated globes on flower-like stalks glow under the star-lit sky. It’s a magical sight which perfectly complements the dramatic surrounding.

From here you will spend a night at Alice Springs before flying to Darwin to begin your adventure in the region’s wilder side. You will be taken aback at the sight of Katherine Gorge, home to freshwater crocodiles. At Kakadu National Park, you will experience the rugged terrain of lush wetlands and mystical sandstone escarpments. The sprawling reserve has more than 2000 plant species and wildlife including saltwater crocodiles and turtles.

Spend two days discovering the Yellow Water Billabong, visiting Arnhem Land and admiring the magnificent rock art from the historical sites of Nourlangie and Ubirr.

Your holiday starts when you fly to Ayers Rock, the red sandstone rock considered sacred by the Aboriginal people. Experience the amazing sunset while nursing a glass of chilled wine and light refreshments before sitting down to a gourmet dinner of local delicacies under a star-lit sky. Listen to the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo as a “star talker” shares his knowledge about the night sky.

The next day, you will be taken to the Mars-like Valley of Winds to learn about ancient Indigenous rock art. Keep a look out for wallabies as you stroll through Walpa Gorge.

You will be taken to see Bruce Munro’s ingenious, solar-powered Field of Light installation near Uluru, made up of 50,000 hand-crafted globes of light after which you will driven to the quintessential outback town of Alice Springs with its rich pioneering history.

You will then fly to Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory with its relaxed outdoor lifestyle, sparkling harbour and Asian-influenced cuisine. Make sure you taste of bowl of spicy laksa as Darwin is known as the laksa capital of Australia. Discover the wilderness and waterholes of Litchfield National Park.

Today you will be taken on a cruise down the crocodile-infested Adelaide River at Kakadu National Park and learn more about ancient rock art, the diverse fauna and flora.

Start your morning with an amazing boat ride on the calm waters of Yellow Water Billabong to spot saltwater crocodiles and majestic birdlife.
