Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced it will be partnering with well-respected host Brett Dudley. He will lead three unique voyages to South Africa and South America, including a scenic cruise of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Dudley is a seasoned traveller, having been in the travel industry for 25 years as owner/operator of two travel companies. His wealth of knowledge and experience make him the perfect host for these three exciting destinations.

“Travelling to many parts of the globe, I’ve experienced some of the most recognised and luxurious hotels, lodges, resorts, events, jets and ships. I am honoured that Regent Seven Seas Cruises has asked me to host these tours,” he says.

The Chilean fjords are just a taste of what is on offer with Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

What’s on offer

Enjoy the lively, Spanish-flavoured Montevideo, dramatic icy Chilean Fjords and cruising the Antarctic Peninsula, the captivating cities of South Africa with game reserves, wineries and breathtaking sub-Saharan beauty. And Dudley is thrilled to be able to help guests tick these locations and experiences off their bucket lists.

“I chose these destinations because I am very familiar with them,” he says. “I will be able to work with you, Regent and your preferred travel advisor, to tailor your holiday experience pre-, post- and during your cruise if you wish. I’m pretty much your personal travel concierge. I hope you can join me on these unique and exclusive tours.”

The itineraries are all-inclusive and fully-escorted, limited to just 20 guests per group. That allows Regent and Dudley to provide an intimate and enriching experience with like-minded guests. There are additional, exclusive amenities plus bonus Shipboard Credit, or in Rio a pre-cruise dinner at the Belmond, hosted by Dudley.

“Guests will be able to get to know each other before boarding,” he says.

Antarctic Peninsula Discovery

The first Brett Dudley-hosted tour is Antarctic Peninsula Discovery, from Rio de Janeiro to Santiago, on Seven Seas Voyager departing January 26, 2024. With limited suites left on this 24-night journey Dudley will take you to lively Montevideo before heading for an overnight stay in sophisticated Buenos Aires, one of his favourite cities.

One of the many shore excursions includes a Schooner & Snorkelling Adventure on the Ilha Grande, south of Rio. Board a Brazilian saveiro schooner and set sail for a pair of superb island snorkelling spots. Spend free time at Praia de Fora, a beach on the island’s northern tip – snorkel some more, then chill out in the sun, before wandering this beautifully remote island.

“A lot of the east coast, south of Rio, is almost untouched,” Dudley says.

Reboard Seven Seas Voyager before crossing the Atlantic and heading to Port Stanley on the Falkland Islands. Then it’s a scenic cruise to Antarctica, the perfect way to experience the fabled White Continent. Prepare then to weave your way through the Chilean Fjords before visiting the ports of Puerto Montt and Puerto Chacabuco, before landing in Santiago.

South America & The Great White Continent

Due to popular demand, Dudley will now be hosting a second voyage that includes a scenic sailing of the Antarctic Peninsula. The 19-night South America & The Great White Continent voyage departs on February 12, 2025, starting in Santiago, Chile and finishing in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In the Falklands, enjoy the quirky British charm of Port Stanley, take a guided walk, and explore on history-rich excursions. “This is a rare opportunity,” adds Dudley.

Sail the Antarctic Peninsula, renowned for its wildlife and polar exploration history. After a day in Ushuaia, the capital of Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego, Splendor heads across the Drake Passage. Expect stunning iceberg views, snowclad cliffs and abundant wild life from your private balcony or on deck. “It’s a really creative and varied itinerary,” says Dudley.

This voyage includes up to 33 shore excursions, plus either an included 3-night Chilean Wonders And Wine pre-cruise land program or a 3-night Authentic Buenos Aires post-cruise land program. And it’s almost booked out!
