Luxury line Silversea plans to restart its cruise operations this November after extending its suspension of all sailings on or before 31 October 2020.

The line said its “top priority” is to “safeguard the health, safety of our guests, crew and the communities we visit.”

“In the interest is commencing operations as soon as is safe to do so, Silversea is currently proceeding with a “rolling” cancellation system in which we are cancelling cruises only when we know that we are unable to operate them. We are therefore avoiding having to cancel cruises that have the possibility of operating,” Silversea said on its website.

The decision was made with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Silversea’s new sailing dates include:

Silver Muse – 31 October 2020

Silver Spirit – 5 November 2020

Silver Origin – 7 November 2020

Silver Moon – 8 November 2020

Silver Whisper – 10 November 2020

Silver Cloud – 16 November 2020

Silver Explorer – 17 November 2020
