Silver Discoverer, was launched in 1989 and refurbished by Silversea Cruises in 2014. This is an expedition ship capable of travelling to remote areas. It is favoured by mature, adventurous couples and solo travellers who enjoy comfort, good food and service. It can carry 124 passengers with 52 crew.
Silver Discoverer offers five suite accommodations. Staterooms have personal safe, binoculars, flat-screen television, DVD player, personalised stationary and satellite news. Wi-Fi connection is available in all cabins.
The Restaurant is the main dining venue on board Silver Discovery and serves international, contemporary dishes. There is also the outdoor Grill for dinner or lunch.
There is a small beauty salon with a massage and treatment room, as well as a fitness room with elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, weight machines and treadmills.
Silver Discover is not designed for families with young children. This ship attracts adult and mature cruisers. There are no facilities or programs for children on board.
