It was refurbished in 2014, with interiors styled like a mega-yacht. The main lounge functions a double lecture room during the day. The 4,077 tonne boutique expedition ship carries up to 100 guests and 75 crew on cruises around the Galápagos archipelago. Silver Galapagos suites range from 230 to 361 square feet. The Restaurant is the main dining area on Silver Galapagos and  has open seating with tables for two, four, six or eight. It provides guests with international and contemporary cuisine, including Ecuadorian meat and delicacies. The Grill serves outdoor meals, coffee and tea.

Silver Galapagos is suitable for multigenerational families. It has eight connecting suites and 25 suites that can accommodate a third person. However, there are no facilities or programs  specifically for children.
