Since its 2013 maiden voyage, Regal Princess has been offering competitive cruises, especially for travelling families. Regal Princess has 1,780 cabins, 1,438 of which have verandahs. All cabins have efficient sound proofing and are equipped with energy-efficient technology including of motion-sensor lighting systems and automatic key card room security. Cabins have twin-to-queen beds, wall-mounted TV sets, a vanity space, hair dryer, and friendly turndown services. Bathrooms are rather spacious and provided with basic toiletries with robes and other necessities delivered immediately upon request. Storage spaces are generous as well.

The ship’s main dining halls, Symphony, Allegro and Concerto, offer both free dining (5.30pm to 9.30pm) and set dining (6pm and 8.15pm). The Horizon Court buffet also caters to guests opting out of the busy dining halls. The International Café runs round the clock offering everything from full meals to snack and drinks. For-fee restaurants are available as well from Sabatini’s trattoria and pizzeria to the Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar, and the Fondues to the Gelato, offering a wide range of cuisine and menus.

The Lotus Spa has been resituated on deck 5 closer to the Piazza with a generous space and an enhanced ambience for relaxation. Treatments are generous as well, from deep-tissue massages to salon treatments. The tub, steam rooms and private bathrooms are readily available post-treatment. The fitness centre is well equipped with both classic and modern equipment as well as classes and boot camps by professional trainers and instructors. A track is also available on deck 18 for jogging and strolling.

On deck 17, the Princess Pelican reserves a dedicated space for kids and teens that hosts events and activities. Activities include educational crafting sessions as well as social games from video games to the casino-inspired bingo and roulette at Lucky Night and themed parties such as the Pirate and Olympic night.
