MSC Fantasia

Launched in December 2008, MSC ยFantasiaย has 13 passenger decks and can accommodate 3,274 guests and 1,325 crew. MSC Fantasia showcases a European style with two decks of public space. The ship attracts young couples and solo travellers and families with children of all ages. It has a pool with a retractable roof, 4D Cinema and Balinese-style spa.
Accommodation
There are a total of 1,637 cabins on board MSC Fantasia broken down into eight categories including Royal Suite, Executive and Family Suite, Deluxe Suite, Balcony, Oceanview and Interior. All cabins have interactive television, telephone, bathroom with shower, Wi-Fi (for a fee), mini-bar and a safe. There are 43 wheelchair-accessible cabins. The exclusive MSC Yacht Club offers suite accommodation with butler service, an exclusive restaurant, sun deck, pool and hot tubs.
Food
Red Velvet is the ship’s main dining room. It spans two decks and is stylishly decorated with Murano glass chandeliers. Il Cerchio d’Oro is a specialty restaurant with a Mediterranean menu that changes daily. El Sombrero Tex-Mex is an evening-only venue that serves up Mexican favorites and allows guests to watch as their food is prepared. La Cantina Toscana is an Italian wine bar and L’Etoile is a classic French restaurant. L’Africana Buffet offers casual dining any time from 6am to 2am. There are also 11 bars and lounges on board.
Activities
The Aurea Spa has a sauna, two steam rooms, beauty salon, Turkish bath, tanning booth, thalassotherapy bath, heated pool and three whirlpools. Spa services range from skin and facial treatment to Balinese massage, aromatherapy and chromotherapy. The Top 18 Exclusive Solarium has its own dedicated spa services and bar. The gym has modern equipment, a variety of classes and personal training. There is also a tennis and basketball court, mini-golf a jogging track.
Families
The MSC Kids Club offers activities for children in four different age groups. Restaurants offer children’s menus and there are special dinners and themed events for kids and teens. There is also a Virtual World full of video arcade games, a Formula One simulator (also popular with big kids) and a 4D cinema. Kids and parents can also play board games in the sports bar or dance in the disco.
