Nicknamed the “Magic of Italy” has 13 passenger decks and can accommodate 2,718 guests. A glass domed atrium reaching 9 decks high is the centerpiece for the lobby  of the Costa Magica with glass panoramic elevators. There are 5,500 works of art found on the Costa Magica.

There are 1,358 cabins on the Costa Magica.  There are 464 with a balcony. Guests can choose from a wide variety  of categories and classes to choose from. Unique to Costa Cruise is the Samsara Spa Cabins that offer guests additional perks for relaxation and wellness while onboard.  These may include unlimited access to the relaxation room and other Samara Spa services. The standard amenities for cabins include flat screen tv, personal safe,vanity, bathroom w/sink and shower, twin bed, shampoo and soap.  The largest rooms are the 8 Grand Suites.

Onboard there are 4 restaurants including two main restaurant Costa Smeralda and the Portofino Restaurant. Guests can treat themselves to a variety of cuisines at the Bellagio Buffet Restaurant and Club Vincenza that can seat 150 guests at any given time. There are 11 bars and lounges that offer a range of drinks and other variety of small dishes for the guests onboard.

There are 9 venues and public rooms for entertainment. Some of these include the onboard Theater Teatro Urbino, 3 decks high with a hydraulic orchestra pit and revolving stage, is the home of the ship’s major productions such as cabaret and ballet shows, laser and light shows, as well as circus acts. Some of the other public rooms for onboard entertainment are Discoteca Grado a nightclub that has a large video screen and mirror ball, Casino Sicillia host several tournaments such as bingo, poker and blackjack,  Mondo Virtuale Ostia Antica the virtual room full of games for race car simulator ideal for teens and adults.  A 14,000 sq. ft. Samara Spa, two decks high is home for the solarium, saunas, steam rooms beauty parlor and 8 treatment rooms.

There are a variety of activities and venues onboard  for children of all ages. Activities are arranged and organized by the staff onboard Costa Magica. Dedicated play areas are located on the ship for children and teens. The Squok Club is the main venue for activities for children ages 3 -11. Children can engage in arts and craft activities, play Playstation, or participate in organized games such as treasure hunts and bingo. The Teens Club is available onboard and offered to children who are 12 – 17 years of age. Teens are invited to participate in organized sports competition, play games and dance. There is a waterslide, reaching 4 decks high that guests of all ages enjoy.
