Carnival Breeze is one of the biggest “fun ships” from Carnival by far. Staying true to its name, Breeze is a carnival at sea with a non-stop range of activities. The WaterWorks pool deck, Carnival Breeze’s crowning glory, houses a Twister Water Slide and the catch-you-off-guard Power Drencher. Guests can sit by the pool and watch movies on a large Seaside Theater LED screen. At night, laser light shows blaze. With its laid-back and family-friendly atmosphere, Carnival Breeze invites everyone, with a “come-as-you-are-and-enjoy-yourself cruise line” as its selling point.

[fa type=”bed”] Accommodation

Carnival Breeze marries style and function with cabins typically sized at 17 square metres. Furnishings include coffee tables, desk and three amply spacious closets. All cabins are outfitted with a mini-bar, swivel flat-screen TV, robes, slippers and beach towels. Bathrooms have non-clinging shower curtain, six glass shelves, wall-mounted vanity mirror and some have soap and shampoo dispensers. Premium cabin and spa-room guests get the well-regarded Elemis spa@home shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. Storage space is generous and passengers can make use of the desk and bedside table drawers for more room.

Carnival Breeze has two main dining rooms –  The Sapphire is located midship while a smaller dining room Blush at the aft. Fixed dining time is either 6pm or 8.15pm, but walk ins are welcome during the flexible dining time, which is any time between 5.45pm and 9.30pm. Both dining rooms are not open for lunch during port days. For a more cuisine-specific dining, guests have plenty of choice, from premium steak at Fahrenheit 555 to Japanese specialties at Bonsai Sushi. Lido Marketplace is a large, self-serve buffet offering different types of cuisine. A level above Lido Marketplace is an Italian restaurant called Cucina del Capitano. Adjacent to the “beach pool” are Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina and Fat Jimmy’s C-Side BBQ for a more casual dining.
