Douro Queen was built in 2005 and cruises along the Douro River in Portugal and Spain, departing from Porto. The 256-foot Douro Queen has three decks and carries 130 passengers and 36 crew.

There are two decks of cabins aboard Douro Queen. Upper deck cabins are 161 square feet and feature step-out private balconies. Main deck cabins are 135 square feet and have large windows. All cabins have twin beds that convert to a doube, individual air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms with shower, satellite television and hairdryer.

Douro Queen’s main dining lounge serves meals in single sittings and offers a range of Portuguese and international flavours. Breakfast and lunch are buffets and dinner is four courses. A selection of wine, beer, fruit juice and soft drinks accompany  lunch and dinner. Guests can also enjoy al fresco meals on the sun deck.

Douro Queen has a Lounge Bar with panoramic windows and a dance floor and a large sun deck with a pool. Onboard entertainment includes Portuguese folk music and history lessons.
