AmaSonata was launched in 2014 and is a sister ship to AmaCerto. The stylish 443-foot river vessel features spacious public areas, staterooms with twin balconies and a heated pool with a swim-up bar. It has three decks and carries 164 passengers and 49 crew along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.

AmaSonata has 79 cabins and three suites, most with balconies. Accommodation ranges from 160 square feet lower-deck cabins with a fixed window to 300 square feet suites with two balconies. All cabins have deluxe hotel-style bedding with Egyptian linen, down pillows and duvet, bathroom with multi-jet shower, air-conditioning, personal safe, hairdryer, ample storage space, flat-screen television with on-demand entertainment and free Wi-Fi.

AmaSonata offers various dining venues. The main restaurant serves buffet breakfasts, lunch and multi-course a la carte dinners. The intimate Chef’’s Table seats 24 guests and there is also an alfresco dining terrace. Menus feature locally-inspired cuisine as well as traditional offerings. Snacks are available in the Main Lounge between meals.

AmaSonata has a heated pool, a sun deck, a walking track, a fitness room and a massage and hair salon. Bicycles are available for guests who wish to explore along the rivers, and there is an eclectic schedule of nightly entertainment.
