Royal Caribbean announced it will have two Quantum class ships in Alaska from 2021.

From May 2021, Quantum of the Seas will move to Seattle and offer seven-night sailings that depart every Monday.

Her sister ship Ovation of the Seas will offer a similar itinerary but departing on Friday.

Quantum’s summer 2021 Alaska itineraries went on sale last week.

Royal Caribbean had announced its Alaskan plans late last year, but the itineraries are now available to guests.

Quantum of the Seas will offer sailings that will visit Endicott Arm Fjord, Sitka Sound, Juneau and Skagway.

The Alaska cruise season will resume from 1 July.

Carnival Cruise Lines announced it would be suspending all Alaska cruise through to at least 30 June. This will include brands like Holland America Line as well as Princess which homeport from both Seattle and Vancouver.

The Canadian government has already cancelled all cruise departures and arrivals in Canadian ports through to 1 July. The announcement, effectively put the Alaska season on hold as all non-U.S flagged ships must stop in a Canadian port during an Alaskan cruise.
