It’s a dream for most – travelling the world and being paid for your ‘efforts’. If you know how to use Instagram, then Royal Caribbean has got the job for you.

The big-ship line are once again on a hunt for an Apprentice Shore Explorer to discover the world and document their travels on Instagram.

But before you start your application, there are some rules to follow.

The three-week apprentice-ship will see the chosen candidate travel to places like Japan, Portugal, Norway, Dubai, Alaska as well as a tour of the private island in the Caribbean.

You’ll be mentored by photographer Russ Francis and the bulk of the job includes snapping some amazing picture as well as curating daily Instagram stories, posts and IGTV videos.

Also part of the job, you’ll be asked to test out land-based experiences, giving Royal Caribbean some hot tips on what to include and what to get rid of from its 2019 itineraries.

If travelling the world for free wasn’t good enough, the Apprentice Shore Explorer will be paid $10,800 based on an annual salary of $187,800.

“We’re looking for an adrenaline junkie who is not only hungry for adventure, but also has a unique ability to capture a moment and tell a story in a simple social media post,” said Royal Caribbean International.

“We already offer a huge amount of incredible, once-in-a-lifetime, on-land experiences as part of our cruise holidays. By launching this position, we’re hoping that the winning candidate will take our shore excursion program to the next level.”

Unfortunately, the offer is only open to applicants who hold an Irish or UK passport – so it’s open to those lucky dual passport holders. Applications close on Friday March 1, 2019.
