Viking has added two new river ships to its fleet โ Viking Honir will sail the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers and Viking Thoth will sail the Nile River.
The delivery ceremony for Viking Honir took place in Basel and Viking Thoth was delivered at Massara shipyard in Cairo.

Viking Honir, the lineโs newest longship can accommodate 190 guests in 95 staterooms. It has been specifically built to navigate the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers and features Vikingโs signature Scandinavian design. Viking Honir will spend her inaugural season sailing popular itineraries such as Passage to Eastern Europe, Rhine Getaway and Christmas on the Rhine.

Viking Thoth has been built specifically to navigate the Nile River. The ship has 41 staterooms to accommodate 82 guests. She will sail Vikingโs Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary.
Vikingโs fleet of river ships will increase by an additional 23 ships by 2028. Viking will also take delivery of 10 ocean ships by 2031.
