Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has removed the single supplement on many of the brand’s most popular European itineraries for 2024.

Uniworld said it had recorded a sharp increase in solo travellers in 2023 compared to 2019: with a 31 per cent total increase, including a 61 per cent increase in female travellers.

“We appreciate the trust our solo travellers place in us to lead them on extraordinary journeys and hope our new Solo Traveller Offer will open the doors for even more guests to experience Uniworld this year,” says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld.”

Typically, when you book a cabin as a solo traveller on a guided tour program, you may be paying the full price of a room that would otherwise be occupied by two paying guests.

single supplement
Uniworld has dropped the single supplement on more than a dozen European itineraries.

Uniworld has removed the single supplement on more than a dozen 2024 itineraries including ‘Venice & The Jewels of Veneto’ where guests can experience a luxury river cruise onboard SS La Venezia, with Uniworld the only cruise line sailing in the Venetian lagoon. It also has dropped the supplement on ‘Castles Along the Rhine’, a quintessential river cruise experience along the Rhine onboard the new SS Victoria

Uniworld says its all-inclusive itineraries are ideal for solo travellers with its ships averaging at just 120 passengers for an intimate and hassle-free travel experience.

Uniworld says solo travellers can take comfort in the knowledge it takes care of all trip details from start to finish, including airport transfers, curated itineraries with daily excursion options, onboard entertainment, farm-to-table dining and more.

Solo offer is applicable to select stateroom categories only with the offer expiring on February 29.
