Pandaw is offering new combination cruise itineraries to allow passengers to thoroughly explore the rivers of Southeast Asia and India.

A total of seven “combo cruise expeditions” ranging from 15 to 21 nights are now on offer which includes internal airfares and some hotels.

Passengers can now discover Myanmar and cruise remote rivers such as the Chindwin or Irrawaddy Delta with a coastal expedition through the Mergui Archipelago.

The expedition combines two very remote destinations. The Irrawaddy Delta and the Mergui Archipelago with its 800 islands, have remained almost unvisited by foreigners. The 15-night itinerary on board RV Kha Byoo Pandaw and MY Andaman Explorer cost US$5320 pp.

They can experience four countries by adding a Red River cruise in North Vietnam after their voyage on the upper Mekong to explore Laos, Thailand and Myanmar.
The 21-night itinerary starts with cruise of Halong Bay, followed by the Kinh Thay River on board RV Angkor Pandaw visiting Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, Dien Xa and Hoa Binh.

From Hanoi guests will take a local flight to Vientiane to board RV Laos Pandaw to explore Ban Mouang Khai village, Luang Prabang and then cruise to the border of Laos and Thailand and Chiang Saen at the Golden Triangle. Prices for the 21-night voyage start from US$6504 pp.

In India, guests can combine cruising the Lower Ganges or Hooghly and the Brahmaputra in Assam. The Assam Valley is home to the UNESCO protected national parks and remote rural communities.

The 15-night voyage on board RV Indochina Pandaw starts at Kolkata visiting Kalna, Mayapur, Plassey, Baranagar and Farakka. The second part of the journey on board RV Orient Pandaw at Jorhat, will cruise to Sibsagar, Kamalabari and Silghat.

ighlights of the expedition will be a visit to a tea plantation which produces the famous Assam tea followed by a safari at the UNESCO Kaziranga National Park to watch elephants and spot the elusive one-horned Indian rhinoceros and the Indian tiger.
