The Nile River has become the latest hot fashion destination as Uniworld embarks on a new partnership with iconic Australian brand Camilla.
It’s quite common for travel companies to align with brands to create connections for its customers, but it might be a first for a river cruise line to team up with a fashion brand.
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has piped other lines to the post, fusing luxury travel with fashion partnering with popular print brand Camilla to inspire travellers to experience Egypt in an immersive and luxurious style.
Kaftans make stunning debut on The Nile
The move comes after Camilla founder, Camilla Franks, also widely known as the Kaftan Queen, cruised the Nile in Egypt with Uniworld, using her experience to directly inspire a soon-to-be-released ‘House of the Sun’ Egyptian collection.
The collection is said to capture the essence of Egypt’s iconic landscapes and historical sites after Franks sailed on Uniworld’s Splendours of Egypt and the Nile itinerary.
“From the sun-drenched amber deserts to the glittering Nile River, and from the mighty Pyramids of Giza to the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Luxor, each piece in the collection tells a story of Egypt’s majestic beauty and all inspired by her time travelling with Uniworld,” Uniworld stated.

To launch the partnership, Uniworld and Camilla will be hosting an exclusive VIP event in Sydney on 24 July.
