The new APT Solara has been christened in Rotterdam by Godmother and co-owner Lou Tandy.
She will join sister ships AmaDouro and AmaVida, offering itineraries in Portugal and Spain’s Douro River Valley.
The new ship is projected to bring an estimated $5.8 million into the local economy.
River lines are now adding more capacity for cooler months like March, April, October and November to deal with the demand.
