Dining

Dining on board a Princess cruise ship is a joyful celebration and the specialty restaurants always deliver an extraordinary experience. They are among the best at sea as they serve dishes made with the freshest ingredients, with their menus reflecting regional flavours from around the world.

Unlike most cruise ships with one large main dining room, the Majestic has three, Allegro, Concerto, and Symphony. In addition to the traditional early and late dinner seating, guests can also choose the new Dine My Way option, where they are able can make reservations at different times each evening in either the Symphony or Concerto dining rooms.

Harmony Restaurant

Princess offers unparalleled inclusive dining options throughout the ship with a wide range of culinary delights to suit any palate, from endless buffet choice to gourmet pizza, frosty treats, decadent desserts and much more.

But if you’re wanting to have a special night out, the speciality restaurants include:

Crown Grill

A refined steakhouse that serves aged and hand-cut, cooked-to-order steaks and premium seafood, including grilled shrimp and lobster.

With a rich wood décor and a theatre-style kitchen, it’s no wonder Crown Grill was named among the “Best Cruise Ship Steakhouses” by USA TODAY. Featuring premium aged beef and fresh seafood items, this specialty restaurant offers an intimate dining experience in a classically elegant setting and an open kitchen where chefs prepare and cook to order top-quality cuts of beef, chops and seafood.

Harmony

A specialty restaurant created in partnership with the former chef of Wing Lei – the first Chinese restaurant in North America awarded a Michelin star – Harmony, features Chef Richard Chen’s interpretation of classic Cantonese dishes. Chef Chen’s innovative plates demonstrate the impeccable technique with a masterful balance of ingredients and flavours.

La Mer

Head to the lively atrium to savour casual French bistro-style dining with a modern twist at La Mer, created with Chef Emmanuel Renaut, who holds the prestigious title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Best Craftsmen of France) and Chef of the Year by Le Chef, and whose Flocons de Sel restaurant has received three Michelin stars. Chef Renaut has created a tantalizing menu, showcasing authentic French dishes crafted with the Chef’s signature flair.

Chef’s Table Lumiere

An extraordinary treat for both gastronomes and gourmet novices, the Chef’s Table Lumiere is a perfect culinary journey for any special occasion. Join a select group of guests for a behind-the-scenes galley tour with champagne and hors d’oeuvres, followed by an extravagant multi-course dinner created and hosted by the ship’s executive chef. Perfect for celebrating an anniversary or milestone, or just making your cruise vacation even more amazing

They’ve also recently introduced a new dining option, ‘Dine My Way’, which offers cruisers the ability to customise every aspect of mealtime and choose when, where and what they eat, whether it’s squeezing in a formal dinner before a show, or ordering food and drinks to your poolside perch with OceanNow. The choice is up to you!

Activities

There are 1,000 metres of shopping aboard the Majestic Princess featuring top brands, a spa and perfumed steam rooms. The Hollywood Conservatory is a sanctuary for adults in private cabanas by day, and transforms into the Hollywood Pool Club, a rocking night venue, once the sun goes down.

The Vista Gaming Lounge features mahjong – including digital tables – and the casino has a high roller and VVIP room.

Other notable activities not to be missed include:

The Seawalk

A dramatic over-the-ocean glass walkway, the SeaWalk is the first of its kind at sea. At 60 feet long, cantilevered 128 feet above the waves and extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship, it affords thrilling vistas of the ever-changing seascape.

Just as the Captain can look through glass panels on the floor of the bridge, passengers can now share in that breathtaking experience. Across the ship, the SeaView Bar goes one step further with a glass-panelled floor and drinks prepared during exciting shows with flair.

The exciting Champagne Art Auctions give you the chance to view and bid on a wide range of fine art, including pieces by famous artists like Thomas Kinkade, Peter Max, and Michael Godard.

Lotus Spa

Named “Best Spa on a Cruise Ship” by Spafinder Wellness 365, the Lotus Spa offers a variety of relaxing treatments, such as facials, aroma stone therapy massages, detoxifying ocean wraps and an aromatherapy thermal suite. Entertainment

From original musicals and dazzling magic shows to feature films and top comedians, there’s something happening around every corner on the Majestic Princess.

Among the highlights include:

The Voice of the Ocean

Think you have what it takes to take the stage? Let your hair down as Princess brings the excitement and spectacle of TV’s hugely popular singing competition to the high seas. The show comes to life throughout the cruise with blind auditions, mentor sessions, the iconic “I Want You” chairs, three charismatic coaches and ultimately a finale performance where guests choose the winner.

Princess Theatre

With dazzling stage sets, artists from around the globe, modern hits and timeless classics, the Princess Theatre showcases lavish, original productions with dynamic cast members in sumptuous surroundings. In this ultramodern theatre, relax in a plush seat with unobstructed sight lines as the velvet curtain goes up, a state-of-the-art lighting system illuminates the stage, and it’s on with the show!

The Princess Theatre is their largest theatre yet.

Deal or No Deal

Just like the popular TV show, contestants must decide whether to accept the offer of “The Banker” and walk away with a sure bet or go for broke. In Princess’ version at sea, audience members can play along to win just as much cash or even a free cruise!

Families

Younger children can enjoy a variety of activities including cake-making classes, supervised experiments and sports. Teens will have access to a surf-themed centre where the can socialise, compete in video game tournaments and participate in dance classes.

Kids will have more than enough entertainment on board.
