Cruise Passenger Magazine’s Editor Sally Macmillan is off to Miami today for the first cruise of Royal Caribbean International’s newest cruise ship, Allure of the Seas, now the world’s largest cruise ship (by a few millimetres). We look forward to reading her blogs right here on Cruise Passenger’s site.

Entertainment onboard includes the Broadway hit Chicago: The Musical. There will be some great food and beverage offerings too including 26 dining options featuring the first Starbucks at sea (instead of free coffee you get to pay), also a copy of a NY restaurant icon 150 Central Park, a restaurant I have dined at several times.  Also the Samba Grill Brazilian steakhouse, Rita’s Cantina Mexican cuisine and The Boardwalk Dog House.

The official naming ceremony for Allure of the Seas will take place on November 28 during a one-night inaugural celebration.

Sally will be there to bring Cruise Passenger Magazine readers a full report.

Have a great trip Sally, the only problem is there is not enough time to try out all the restaurants.
