Regent Seven Seas has released the details for its 2029 world cruise, with the luxurious Seven Seas Mariner set to visit 31 countries across all seven continents. 

The cruise will sail for nearly half the year, with a total of 150 nights of cruising for the 700 passengers that will be onboard. 

Regent Seven Seas is about as upscale as cruise lines get, so it doesn’t come cheap. Fares for the epic cruise open from $142,860 for a veranda suite, and go up to $292,860 for the premium Signature Suite.

What to expect on the cruise

The world cruise will start out of Miami, before sailing deep into South America, even offering an exploration of the Amazon River. This warm climate will then be left behind as the cruise continues to Antarctica, where guests can enjoy the bucket-list experience of one of the planet’s best places for scenery and wildlife.

It will then head into the Pacific Ocean, with explorations throughout the South Pacific and Polynesia, before arriving in Australia. Next up comes South East Asia, and then the cruise leads on to a deeper exploration of India, and then into the Middle East with visits to famous sites like Petra and the Nile River. The cruise then moves into classic Mediterranean destinations before winding up in Rome.

A refreshed Seven Seas Mariner

Seven Seas Mariner is already a luxurious ship, but cruisers will get another level of luxury following the ship’s recent refurbishment. Suites have been redone and refreshed, and now feature new marble bathrooms for instance to capture higher suite categories. 

The Pool Grill has a new pizzeria concept, with an enhanced designed. And this isn’t the only upgrade to dining. Regent’s new Epicurean Enrichment Studio, a brand new culinary theatre, has been opened on the ship.

Other eateries include continental food at Compass Road, the Prime 7 steakhouse, French cuisine at Chartreuse and classic Italian food at La Veranda.
