According to Channel Seven, “upside down” pineapples is a secret sign used by swingers to identify each other in public.

A cruise ship passenger has discovered the X-rated meaning behind cabin doors with ‘pineapples’.

 

It’s a claim that took us by surprise – but over ten million have viewed the video.

“It means, drop-ins are most welcome… and bring friends,” one woman said on the bulletin.

Another said: “It’s a swinger’s symbol. They have swingers clubs on cruises. I’ve been on enough to know.”

But another confessed: “Oh my god, I could have had an awkward moment,” one admitted.
