All About The Bass as Meghan Trainor is appointed godmother to Utopia of the Seas

The countdown is on – American singer Meghan Trainor who has been named godmother to Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas, will host the ultimate pre-celebratory concert when the ship kicks off her debut getaway next week.

Trainor will perform ‘live’ onboard Utopia when the ship calls at RCI’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoBay in the Bahamas. The three-night weekend cruise will take place before Utopia officially set sails on her maiden journey departing Port Canaveral in Florida on 19 July.

Kicking off the three-night celebrations, Trainor will officially name Utopia after her exclusive show at the open-air Aqua Theatre. Specially invited guests will have a lineup of unique experiences including 40 ways to dine, drink and party. They will also experience the Royal Railway – the first-of-its-kind immersive train car dining experience. There will also be other show-stopping entertainment featuring air, ice, water and stage.

RCI’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoBay in the Bahamas has 14 waterslides, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean and the newly-opened adults-only oasis, Hideaway Beach which features a private beach, pool, exclusive cabanas, a live DJ, drinking and eating spots.

RCI will host a three-night weekend and four-night weekday vacations before Utopia officially sails on her maiden voyage on 19 July.
