Imagine taking a luxurious bath or shower in your five-star suite onboard your cruise โ but on Spectrum of the Seas, youโll be floating above the ocean.
Royal Caribbeanโs newest ship, which is slated to sail around Asia, will have new features including an Ultimate Family Suite, which has a bathroom with โunparalleled water viewsโ. The bathroom, will be floating off the ship with nothing underneath it.
Guests who book the 2,809 square-foot Ultimate Family Suite will get to experience all the features of the two-level, three-bedroom apartment. It can accommodate 11 guests and features a slide for kids.
Thereโs also an ensuite recreation room for karaoke, video games or movie nights.
But luxury does come at a price โ a seven-day cruise starts at around US$50,000 night, so start saving your pennies.
Spectrum of the Seas will commence her season in 2019 from Shanghai and will be the largest sailing Asia with a capacity of 4,246 passengers.
Also onboard will be Golden and Silver luxury accommodations โ a ship within a ship – spread across three decks in the forward end of the ship. Guests have private elevator access as well as an exclusive restaurant, lounge, boutique shopping area as well as The Balcony, an outdoor space for sunbathing and relaxing.
The ship will also have new restaurant offerings like Sichuan Red, the Leaf and Bean which is a traditional tea room as well as Wonderlandโs Dadong, curated by Chinese chef Dong Zhenxiang.
Itโs also the first chef in the Asia-Pacific region which will have a Sky Pad which is a bungee trampoline where passengers can look out over the ocean and there will be new augmented reality walls and floors in the SeaPlex complex.
