Scenic has announced new voyages for 2027/28 on the Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II.

The ship will visit 500 ports across 63 countries, which cover cultural experiences as well as adventure-led itineraries.

Guests can embark on expedition journeys – from the pristine wilderness of Antarctica and the Arctic Circle to the vibrant cultures of the Mediterranean and the crystalline waters of the Caribbean.

Claudius Docekal, Scenic Group Vice President Ocean Deployment, said “Since launching our Discovery Yachts, we’ve continued to reimagine what’s possible in ultra-luxury ocean exploration. With the new 2027–2028 season, we’re taking our journeys further than ever before.

“For the first time, Scenic Eclipse will explore Canada’s Hudson Bay and the storied landscapes of Egypt, two incredible additions that reveal entirely new worlds for our guests. We’ve also introduced more Grand Voyages and flexible back-to-back sailings, giving travellers the opportunity to see and do more in one seamless experience.

“Every itinerary has been carefully designed to offer something unique, whether that’s flying over polar ice scapes in a helicopter or tracing ancient history along the Nile, all with the comfort, care, and Nth Degree detail Scenic is known for.”

Highlights of the 2027–2028 collection include:

  • Expanded North America Journeys: New voyages include expanded visits across Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, offering guests even more ways to explore the North American coastline.
  • Comprehensive Mediterranean Expansion: These voyages now extend into the Eastern Mediterranean with new destinations such as Alexandria and comprehensive combinations across the region.
  • Caribbean & South America Adventures: Relax on a rejuvenating voyage from Antigua to Barbados, or journey from Panama City to Valparaíso, discovering national parks and ancient desert civilisations.

  • Enhanced Antarctica Program: Starting in 2026, having both the Scenic Eclipse Discovery Yachts deployed in Antarctica allows for more frequent departures and varied routing. Antarctica itineraries are offering helicopter access to locations like Snow Hill Island to visit the Emperor penguin colony for unique wildlife encounters.
  • New Themed Voyages: Designed to elevate the guest experience, this includes Culinary Voyages showcasing global flavours and fine dining, Wellness Voyages focused on holistic rejuvenation, and Broadway at Sea featuring exclusive performances.
  • Updated Grand Journey Combinations: Extended Grand Voyages of up to 60 nights allow guests to combine itineraries for a richer, deeper travel experience across regions.

Jason Flesher, Scenic Director of Discovery Operations, said “The 2027-2028 season will be our eighth in Antarctica and Scenic Eclipse remains unmatched in terms of the unrivalled discovery meets ultra-luxury guest experience.

“Only Scenic Eclipse provides a four-dimensional view of the White Continent: on water by Zodiac, kayak and stand-up paddleboard; on land walking amongst the unique wildlife; underwater in the Scenic Neptune submersibles and beyond the horizon with our two on board helicopters.

Scenic Eclipse can reach the furthest locations, cover more distances and truly showcase the vastness, wildlife and majestic beauty of Antarctica.
