The food delivery service on the Royal Caribbean app has finally moved into the trial phase and guests on Symphony of the Seas are the first to road test it.
The service is found in the โBring Meโ feature of the app and guests are able to order food and have it delivered to their room or elsewhere on the ship.
Cruisers can order pizza from Sorrento’s, burgers and hot dogs from Johnny Rockets, chicken fingers from Playmakers and sushi from Izumi and have it delivered to them. Drinks like Evian bottled water and sodas like Coke is also available.
The service is offered at extra cost, even for restaurants like Sorrentoโs which is usually an included venue. Pizza from Sorrentoโs is priced at $8.63 (US$5.95). The Original burger from Johnny Rockets cost $14.43 (US$9.95) and the Chili Dog is $4.278 (US$2.95). The sushi is the most expensive, costing $18.78 (US$12.95) to $26.03 (US$17.95) depending on which rolls you want.
There are some areas excluded like pools, waterslide lines, theatres and other restaurants. But otherwise you just drag and drop a pin on the map to indicate your location and the crew will bring your order to you.
