With the arrival of Radiance of the Seas today, Royal Caribbean International announced a stellar lineup for its brands, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises.

The company’s amazing fleet of ships will be sailing to a number of regions including Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

And we’ll see some of our old favourites, return completely fresh from dry dock.

Radiance of the Seas arrives in Sydney to officially kick-start the fleet’s return to Aussie waters – and her ninth season return with 21 South Pacific and New Zealand sailings calling to destinations including Noumea, Mystery Island and Port Vila, Vanuatu.

Radiance of the Seas

Perhaps more highly anticipated will be the return of Voyager of the Seas on November 30 following her $144 million makeover, and addition of some ground breaking new features, with experiences aimed at the family market including high-speed waterslide The Perfect Storm and an adrenalin raising Laser Tag park – and world-class spa facilities at Vitality Spa.

Voyager of the Seas is due to visit favourite regional destinations from Noumea in New Caledonia to Lautoka in Fiji and Mystery Island, Vanuatu.

RCL combined will be offering more than 550 port calls from today until 25th April 2020 with a selection of 86 sailings on five ships, also including the Ovation of the Seas and Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Solstice as well as Azamara Journey.

Mystery Island, Vanuatu

Gavin Smith, RCL Managing Director says “we are ready for an amped season full of jaw-dropping features never before seen in Australia to give guests more opportunities to create lifelong memories with their families.”

Smith also stated that the three brands’ visit to Australian waters is estimated to add $160million AUD value to the local economy and allows more than a quarter of a million guests to enjoy the 86 sailings across the five ships.

Mr Smith said “Our ships do truly offer something very every traveller, whether they are seeking memory-making adventures with their family on Royal Caribbean or prefer a more luxury experience on Celebrity where every meal is a destination of its own. Azamara’s unique selection of sea voyages and immersive land programs will take guests further, visiting more incredible locations in 2019/2020.”

Along with the luxury experience Celebrity Cruises is known for, Celebrity Solstice returns for her eighth season on October 11 and offers “extraordinary destinations, delicious dining, intuitive service and stunning design and luxurious accommodation,” according to Mr Smith.

Celebrity Solstice

With 20 local itineraries, Celebrity Solstice will visit some of Australia and New Zealand’s most desired locations along with New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

Azamara Journey meantime, is described as a boutique hotel at sea, and is due to arrive on 1st February 2020 for her fifth local season down under. For those seeking access to some of the top locations of New Zealand, Tahiti and the Cook Islands then the Azamara Journey is a great option.

Mr Smith adds that “Azamara’s new land programs perfectly compliment our unique itineraries, taking guests beyond the world’s most beautiful ports. Our voyagers can do deeper, diving into the history, culture and delights of the world’s greatest cities, countries and continents.”
