Princess Cruisesโ€™ new MedallionClass is set to roll out on Regal Princess early 2019 after a successful launch on Caribbean Princess.

The MedallionClass brings a futuristic guest experience with a complimentary smart wearable device, OceanMedallion, that can be worn as a wristband, pendant, clip or simply make friends with the other bits and bobs in your pocket.

Princess Cruisesโ€™ Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Stuart Allison, say that guests can look forward to tailored experiences onboard that โ€œtakes service to the next levelโ€.

The personalised service starts at home when you upload your travel documents to your profile pre-cruise to enjoy fast ship boarding.

Other features of the Princess MedallionClass include a keyless stateroom entry, on demand beverage delivery throughout the ship, Wi-Fi with land-like speeds and smart payment feature, MedallionPay.

Guests will also have access to apps that will transform their smart devices to an OceanCompass that will help them with point-to-point navigation onboard, a game controller for interactive gaming, stream more than 100 hours of award-winning travel shows and even go on a ship wide digital scavenger hunt.

The OceanMedallion won the 2019 Innovation Award for its leading-edge technology that delivers personalised service through enhanced guest-crew interactions as well as interactive entertainment.

โ€œOur guests have been absolutely wowed by OceanMedallion vacations on Caribbean Princess, and we are proud to roll-out the full Princess MedallionClass experience on Regal Princess starting early next year,โ€ said Jan Swartz, President of Princess Cruises.

The MedallionClass will be full activated for Regal Princessโ€™ Caribbean Season starting February 17, 2019.

She will also be deployed in Sydney for her maiden Australian season from December 2020 to April 2021.
