Princess has lifted the lid on a series of new culinary offerings across some of their ships, including a brand new seafood concept from award-winning Chef Rudi Sodamin.

‘The Catch by Rudi’ will be the cruise lines first restaurant operating with a primary focus on seafood. The brand new restaurant is already a new feature of Enchanted Princess, and is soon coming to Majestic Princess, Sky Princess and Discovery Princess.

John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises said: “Chef Rudi is the foremost cruise culinary artist in the world with more than four decades of experience spanning the world’s best cruise lines – Princess Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America Line and Carnival Cruise Line, as well as Royal Caribbean and Norwegian American Cruise Line.

“Chef Rudi’s creativity, passion and leadership in delivering exceptional experiences down to the finest details that consider guests preferences and tastes will surely make The Catch another “must do.”

The new speciality dining restaurant replaces Bistro Sur la Mer and Princess are predicting to fast become a favourite. One of the exciting menu features is The Daily Catch, featuring the freshest seafood sourced from local ports of call.

Look forward to new signature seafood adventures from Rudi Sodamin such as a Towering Trio, Whole Dover Sole, Tower of Taste and more, as well as fresh takes such as Asian-fried calamari, lobster with garlic butter crust and plenty more mouthwatering offers.

Mr Sodamin says: “The Catch by Rudi is my way of combining my love of food, seafood and people with my incredible culinary journey at sea and my lifelong history of cooking seafood across the globe to delight Princess guests.

“I want to deliver a new way to enjoy seafood and a fresh perspective on something they thought they knew. Everything we are doing with The Catch is about ‘catching’ that precious moment we call ‘now’—and doing it in such a memorable and unexpected way that makes you say ‘wow!'”

Wine will be expertly curated to pair with seafood, with an informed waitstaff helping you with recommendations from across the extensive wine collection.

If pure seafood isn’t what you’re craving, the restaurant will also serve vegetarian options, as well as signature beef dishes such as steak frites.

While The Catch will steal headlines, Enchanted Princess is also getting a brand new Irish Pub ‘O’Malley’s’, with all the traditional music, entertainment, and food you’d expect.

Also coming to Enchanted Princess is the world-famous Salty Dog Cafe, originally a Hilton Head eatery that can now be enjoyed on the Lido Deck. Guests will find American classics like the Prime Burger and Chicken Strip Basket, with Salty Dog branded decor.
