Oceania Sonata will have newly designed suites when she debuts in 2027

Oceania Cruises has unveiled newly designed suite accommodation aboard Oceania Sonata which will debut in August 2027.

Designed for the modern luxury traveller, Oceania Sonata will offer a greater variety and number of suites with more than a third of all accommodation dedicated to suites.

Oceania Sonata will have four Owner’s Suites, each more than 234sq m offering 180-degree views over the water with wrap-around verandas. Commanding the aft corner on Decks 10 and 11, each Owner’s Suite will feature two bedrooms, a marble bathroom with bath, floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a private veranda.

The new ship which can accommodate 1390 guests and 855 crew, will have eight Vista Suites, each ranging from 140 to 176 sq m with expansive verandas. The marble bathroom will have double vanities,  a rainshower and soaking tub. Vista Suites will offer uninterrupted ocean views and understated elegance with plush furnishings.

There will be 16 Oceania Suites, each ranging between 97 and 136sq m with private teak verandas and 50 Horizon Suites, a new category of suite accommodation, designed for the aspirational luxury traveller. The Horizon Suite, each at 56 sq m will have a contemporary design with a walk-in wardrobe and an oversized veranda.

Besides the 63 Penthouse Suites, Oceania Cruises has added 82 new Penthouse Deluxe Suites, each ranging between 40 and 45sq m with an over-sized living area, private veranda to create a retreat at sea.

All suites will have butlers, the line’s next-generation Tranquility Beds and luxury Aquamar bath amenities.

Bookings for Oceania Sonata’s inaugural season itineraries will open for sale on 29 January 2026.
