Oceania Nautica to be reborn as Oceania Aurelia after an extensive refurbishment

• Oceania Nautica to undergo a major refurbishment and re-emerge as Oceania Aurelia in 2027.
• Oceania Aurelia will then embark on Grand Voyages and Around the World journeys in 2028 and 2029.
• Oceania Aurelia will be designed as a smaller ship to feel more like a home at sea.

Oceania Nautica will be reborn as Oceania Aurelia in 2027 after an extensive refurbishment.

Oceania Cruises said that Oceania Aurelia will then embark on the line’s Around the World voyages and Grand Voyages in 2028 and 2029.

“Oceania Aurelia is our ultimate world explorer,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises. “She is designed specifically for guests who desire greater space, more suites and a deeper level of personalised care, particularly for extended journeys. Oceania Aurelia will be a smaller, more club-like ship that truly feels like a home at sea, providing travellers a deeper connection to the ports they visit.”

Oceania Aurelia will accommodate up to 500 guests in 238 spacious suites with the majority spanning between 28 sq m to 93 sq m each. There will be a wide selection of suites available from the Owner’s, Vista and Penthouse suites to the new additions of Oceania and Horizon suites. There will also be a selection of Oceanview and Inside suites giving world travellers an array of options.

In keeping with the line’s commitment to serve the Finest Cuisine at Sea, Aurelia will have an array of dining venues serving dishes to reflect the different regions the ship visits. Besides specialty restaurants such as Polo Grill and Toscana, guests will be able to eat at the Grand Dining Room, Terrace Café, Waves Grill and the Pizzeria.

The ship’s popular coffee shop, Baristas will move to Horizons with a new Bakery and Creperie where guests can enjoy freshly made crepes. There will also be a new Founders Bar serving an array of cocktails.

Culinary workshops will be offered at the new Chef’s Studio while guests who are aspiring artists can refresh their creative skills at the Artist Loft.
