Oceania Cruises is sending Oceania Marina into dry dock in October 2026 for a refurbishment described as a “comprehensive reinspiration” of the ship.
The stem-to-stern facelift will touch every aspect of the ship. Every stateroom is getting a redesign with entirely new bathrooms featuring marble finishes and rainforest showers, bars and lounges will feature updated furnishings, plus new sun loungers and day beds will surround the pool deck.
The refurbishment of Oceania Marina is the first in a series of major upgrades planned as part of line’s OceaniaNEXT program, an all-encompassing initiative to improve guest experiences.

“At Oceania Cruises, raising the bar is not an initiative – it is our mindset,” Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, said in a statement.
“We are constantly refining the guest experience, from elevating our culinary offerings to creating more intimate, immersive ways to explore the world’s most iconic destinations.
“With OceaniaNEXT, we are reaffirming our commitment to modern luxury by ensuring every ship in our fleet reflects the refined style, attention to detail and thoughtful innovation that define our brand.”
What are the highlights of the Oceania Marina refurbishment?
The reinspiration of Oceania Marina, which was built in 2011, will be a major milestone to align the aesthetic and ambiance of all of Oceania Cruises’ fleet and planned newbuilds.

Every stateroom on the 1,250-guest vessel will be redesigned with new layouts, furnishings and entirely new bathrooms featuring marble finishes and rainforest showers.
Updated furnishings, new carpeting and lighting will be fitted throughout all public areas, including bars and lounges. Plus, the Founders Bar, which will offer artisanal cocktails such as barrel-aged Negronis and small-batch gin creations, will be introduced into the expanded Grand Lounge.
The pool deck will get a refresh too, with new sun loungers and day beds for guests to relax on.
Signature speciality restaurants Polo Grill, Red Ginger, Toscana and Jacques will get new designs and state-of-the-art improvements to the galley.

The Oceania Marina refurbishment will take place where it was first built, at renowned Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri‘s Sestri Ponente shipyard in Genoa.
