Oceania expands Asian sailings with immersive cultural excursions

Oceania Cruises, has upped the ante offering extensive Asian shore excursions so guests can immerse themselves in untouched ancient cultures when they sail to the region next year.

From the vibrant city of Hong Kong and the lush coves of Bali to the ancient temples of Kyoto, guests will be able to access some of the most remote ports in the region and learn about their venerable cultures and cuisine.

There will be food-focused tours from cooking classes in Thailand, visiting Vietnam’s amazing produce markets to trekking to wet caves in the Tu Lan system in China, the line will deliver stunning adventures for even the most seasoned world travellers.

Itineraries range from six-day jaunts to 24-day voyages in the first half of 2025. The line offers Simply More” packages, where guests will be entitled to two-for-one cruise fares, free shore excursions, free champagne, wine and beer and free WiFi.

Tropics of the Far East itinerary 14 February – 10 March 2025

The 24-day itinerary from Tokyo to Singapore aboard Riviera will explore Boracay Island, Brunei, unspoiled Borneo with indulgent overnight stays in Tokyo, Jakarta and Bali.

Malay Peninsula Treasures itinerary from 3 – 9 April 2025

The six-day Singapore round trip aboard Regatta will sail to the Malay Peninsula, surrounding islands and culture-rich cities.

Gilded Eastern Kingdom itinerary from 9 – 24 April 2025

The 15-day voyage from Singapore to Taipei aboard Regatta will delve into mystical Eastern culture visiting magnificent temples, bustling markets and tropical; retreats. There are overnight stays in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong.

Springtime in Asia itinerary 24 April – 8 May 2025

The 14-day journey from Taipei to Kyoto aboard Regatta will explore the grandeur of Asia’s ancient empires from Japan to dynastic China. There are overnight stays in Shanghai, Beijing and Kyoto.

Extravagant Far East itinerary 3 – 23 June 2025.
