Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship Norwegian Encore floated out the Meyer Werft shipyard for the first time last weekend.

The 3,998-guest ship will be getting finishing touches on her interiors before commencing on seven-day voyages to the Caribbean in November 24, 2019.

“To see the ship emerge from the shipyard is always one of the most exciting construction milestones,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. “Our partners at Meyer Werft have been committed to our vision for not only Norwegian Encore, but for this industry leading class of ships, supporting our dedication to delivering our guests the best cruise vacation at sea.”

Norwegian Encore will feature the world’s longest race track at sea at 335 metres, the largest outdoor laser tag arena with augmented reality elements, new immersive escape room and interactive theatre experiences in the Galaxy Pavilion.
