High Fashion Meets Rock Music in Princess Cruises’ New Production Show “Rock Opera,” debuting onboard Sky Princess & Enchanted Princess

Rock Opera was created exclusively for Princess Cruises and it will be brought to life by special guest tenor, America’s Got Talent rock tenor, Brian Justin Crum and also Australian dancer Emma Sammut from NSW Central Coast.

“Rock Opera takes our guests on a musical journey, featuring our 8-piece live orchestra playing iconic rock songs. Our production and costume design team were inspired by one of New York City’s most glamorous evenings of the year, the Met Gala,” said Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises’ Vice President of Entertainment Experience.

Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess guests should anticipate an unforgettable evening of music that transcends language and celebrates the diversity of our crew and guests from around the world. Rock Opera features songs in English, Spanish, Latin and a Princess first – sign language.”

Mr Crum is a Californian who finished fourth in America’s Got Talent in 2016 and has also performed in shows like Wicked, Grease, Next to Normal and touring companies of The Addams Family and We Will Rock You.

Rock Opera is created by Director and Choreographer Danny Teeson who has worked with stars like Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson to Robbie Williams and Tom Jones.

Other members of the creative team include Musical Arranger Nelson Kole, Scenic Designer John Lacovelli and Costume Designer Jackson Lowell.

Rock Opera debuts on Sky Princess in December 2019 and on Enchanted Princess in June 2020. Guests will also be treated to more music at Princess’ new Take 5 jazz theatre on board.
