Chef, restaurateur, TV host and author Matt Moran will be back aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth for Great Australian Culinary Voyage in early 2025.

The celebrity chef and owner of ARIA, Chiswick and Opera Bar in Sydney – among others – will be presenting exclusive dishes at premium dining venues The Verandah and Britannia Restaurant.

Moran, who took part in the inaugural Great Australian Culinary Voyage earlier this year, will also be a feature of interactive Q&A sessions with guests on the five-night round-trip sailing departing Sydney to Tasmania on February 6, 2025.

“Cunard’s Great Australian Culinary Voyage really brings to light the nation’s love affair with food, particularly our creative talent and incredible local produce which make our country’s cuisine so unique,” Moran said.

“I’m excited to be partnering with Cunard again to create memorable dishes that will surprise and delight all foodies who want to sample incredible dining experiences in a truly beautiful setting on a luxurious Cunard Queen.”

Culinary calendar highlight

Cunard’s Great Australian Culinary Voyage has established itself as a highlight on the Australian food calendar, providing an unforgettable six days of remarkable gourmet indulgence for guests.

The announcement follows on from the sold out Great Australian Culinary Voyage for early 2024 featuring TV favourite Karen Martini, Indigenous chef Mark Olive, celebrity chef Gary Mehigan and sweet treat maker Darren Purchese, alongside wine expert Katie Spain.
