Asia’s biggest party cruise It’s The Ship is expanding to Australia and the Asian region.

“Australia is one of the countries which It’s The Ship has their sights on. It’s The Ship is currently in talks for a sailing in Australia in the near future,” a company spokesperson said.

The company, Livescape Group will initially expand to Japan this year before taking its cruises to Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai and Dubai over the next three years.

Australians are also among the top five countries who regularly cruise with the party ship since it was launched five years ago.

Livescape Group CEO Iqbal Ameer told Cruise Passenger: “Australians have been a big part of all four of our past sailings and have been fundamental to the growth of our shipmate community.

“It’s The Ship Australia is our chance to showcase the beauty of the country and its people and an opportunity to bring a new and hopefully crazier version of It’s The Ship to Australian shores.”

Mr Ameer said his vision for It’s The Ship, is to create an unforgettable experience for the music fans on board.

“As our tagline says we are still Asia’s largest festival at sea. It’s not often that you are able to take selfies or hang out with your favourite DJ during breakfast, but on It’s The Ship, anything is possible.”

He said that each party cruise will have crazy themed parties, non-stop side activities and “the best of the best in music, all jammed packed onboard a luxury cruise ship. Not forgetting the most fun community that encompasses shipmates from over 88 countries around the world. We believe it is truly an experience you can’t miss.”

For its Japan’s launch, the company is working on an impressive line-up from the world of house, techno, hip-hop and EDM (electronic dance music).

Previous sailings hosted dance-oriented acts like Yellow Claw, Dirtcaps, Krewella, Nucleya, Coone, Higher Brothers and Knife Party, an Australian electro house duo featuring Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen from Perth.

“It’s The Ship is anything but ordinary. It has everything a party vacation should have and more. There are parties to experience, some relaxation to so, friendships to be made and even some surprises to encounter… who knows. Anything is possible when you find yourself on board one of the best musical adventures, alongside other like-minded people on land and sea.

“This is your chance to put on that crazy outfit hidden at the back of your wardrobe and finally put to use, as you dress to impress for the many themed parties on board.
“On It’s The Ship, you are most likely to bump into your favourite DJ while you’re in line for breakfast, while you-re having a dip in the pool or they just might even be busting a move on the dance floor right next to you,’’ its website said.

The company will charter Genting Dream for its next party cruise which is a four-day party voyage departing Singapore to Phuket from 4 to 7 November. Prices start from US$646 pp twin share for an interior cabin, US$710 pp for an oceanview cabin and US$950 pp for a balcony deluxe cabin.
