Whether you are a newly retired corporate chief or a digital nomad with plans to work remotely from your ship, going on a world cruise is a life-changing adventure.
Oceania Cruises’ 2027 Around the World Cruise offers a choice of three global explorations of varying lengths, taking you to some of the most exotic places on the planet. From idyllic islands to iconic cities to off-the-beaten-path destinations, this circumnavigation of the globe is a voyage beyond imagination.
You’ll be sailing on board Vista, an elegant ship for only 1200 guests in residential-style luxury with all-veranda accommodations. All three sailings include the Exclusive Prestige Package of free extras: laundry, hotel-to-ship transfers, a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, and an onboard medical consultation, plus your choice of unlimited wine, beer and spirits or a shore excursion credit up to US$16,000.
Continental Explorer
Miami to Doha: 127 days from 6 January to 13 May 2027
Regions: South America, South Pacific, Asia
For those who prefer a shorter journey, the Continental Explorer sails the Around the World Cruise for the first 127 days. One of your first ports of call after departing Miami is Cartagena, Colombia. You will discover the walled Old Town and walk along the cobbled streets whilst admiring the colourful buildings.
Watch from Vista’s upper deck as you make a daylight transit of the Panama Canal, before stopping in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala. Here you can drive into the mountains to old Antigua, the country’s colonial capital.
Sail along the coast of Mexico, before heading for a month of island-hopping across Hawaii, French Polynesia and Fiji. When you visit the sugary sands of Bora Bora, you can snorkel and swim with manta rays.
From there, journey on to Australia where you can explore the iconic Sydney Harbour, the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. Then it’s off to Komodo Island in Indonesia for the Asian leg of the cruise.
For two months immerse yourself in Asia’s effervescent cultures, arriving in Japan just in time for the cherry-blossom season. You will appreciate the old imperial capital Kyoto and explore Nara, the cradle of Japanese arts, literature and craft, with its magnificent shrines and temples.
On her way to an overnight stay in Singapore, Vista winds through the Philippines so you can call on Coron, one of the best island destinations in the world, blessed with stunning beaches and coral reefs. Be sure to visit Kayangan Lake for a swim and admire this mountain lake that is one of the most photographed spots in the country.
From Singapore, there are port calls in Malaysia and Thailand on your way to Mumbai before crossing the Arabian Sea to conclude your unforgettable journey in the modern metropolis of Doha.
