Aranui Cruises will have two ships sailing French Polynesia in 2027

• New ship, Aranoa will join Aranui 5 to cruise all-year round in French Polynesia.
• The company is offering 20 per cent discount for the first two voyages onboard Aranoa.
• There are early bird deals of between 10 and 15 per cent discount if bookings are made before 31 December 2025.

Aranui Cruises will have two ships sailing the pristine waters of French Polynesia for the first time in 2027.

The new, 198-guest Aranoa will join the 230-guest Aranui 5 passenger-freight ship to cruise all year-round in the French Polynesia archipelago. Aranoa will offer 18 itineraries during her maiden season calling at Society Islands and Bora Bora.

Aranoa, known in Tahitian as a “great awakening” will have 93 cabins including 62 with a private balcony. The ship will have two restaurants, two bars, two spa pools, a fitness centre and tattoo parlour.

“With Aranoa’s arrival, we are thrilled to be able to spend more time in the Austral Islands, a truly untouched and pristine part of the world that is home to its own unique culture, beautiful nature, interesting history and the most happy and welcoming people.

“Not to mention stunning landscapes like Raivavae’s dazzling blue lagoon which rivals Bora Bora. These islands are very special and also very small, especially Rapa Iti, which is located 1200 km away from Tahiti and is home to just 500 people,” said Aranui Cruises Australia and New Zealand Representative, Laurent Wong.

Aranoa will offer two 12-day voyages to Pitcairn and the Gambiers with prices starting from  $10,258 per person.

Both Aranoa and Aranui 5 will celebrate the Marquesas Arts Festival with Aranui 5 offering a 14-day itinerary departing on 13 December with prices starting from $9502pp while Aranoa will have a 13-dy voyage departing Papeete on 13 December 2027 with prices starting from $9677pp. Both ships will spend three nights in Hiva Oa so that guests can experience the arts festival which celebrates the vibrant culture and traditions of the Marquesas Islands.

To launch Aranoa’s new sailings, Aranui Cruises is offering a 20 per cent discount for Aranoa’s first two voyages – the inaugural cruise to Austral Islands including Rapa with prices starting at $7611pp for departures on 6 March and $7347 for departures on 24 March.

There are also early bird deals of between 10 and 15 per cent discount on both ships if bookings are made before 31 December 2025.
