- Crystal Cruises has had great success with its first wellness voyages.
- The itineraries were led by former tennis pro Dalila Roglieri, now a nutritionist.
- Now the line has announced four more 2027, putting Crystal in the forefront of a growing trend.
Crystal is tapping into fast-growing demand for self-care at sea with the launch of four dedicated wellness voyages for 2027, doubling the program in its fourth year.
Crystal confirmed that they will take place aboard both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity for the first time. The first will set sail towards the end of the first quarter of 2027, with the rest to be spread throughout the year across a range of destinations.
They come as the cruise line reported strong demand for its two 2026 Wellness at Sea cruises aboard Crystal Symphony which will set sail in August this year.
“We know that health and wellness are massive trends at the moment,“ Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group VP Marketing APAC Michelle Mickan told delegates at International Luxury Travel Market in Singapore.
“We’ve had great success with our wellness cruises, and over the coming weeks, we’ll be launching four dedicated wellness cruises. These include voyages with expert-led programs based around fitness, nutrition, mindfulness and longevity science. The fact that we are launching four shows the success and growth in this area.”
This year’s program, led by former tennis pro Dalila Roglieri, brings together movement, mindfulness and culinary nourishment. Sessions will include yoga and meditation, sound baths, functional training, breathwork and mind-reset classes.
Roglieri has rediscoverd her Italian roots as a nutritionist. “As I delved deeper into the subject, I realized I missed the convivial and authentic aspects of Italian cuisine.
“Food, for me, is not only nourishment for the body but a way to experience cultures and explore traditions through recipes and local ingredients. Combining my scientific knowledge as a nutritionist with my love of food and cooking became my dream, and working with chefs allowed me to do just that, learning from their vast experience in the kitchen.”
Roglieri is Wellness Ambassador for Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, and collaborates with the talented chefs on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity. She enhances their culinary creations by adding her expertise to develop balanced menus, rich in phytonutrients that nourish from within, that can cater to a variety of dietary preferences and requirements.

Mickan promised that the 2027 voyages will feature all this and more. “It will be an expanded program for 2027 with new components in there,” she said.
Meanwhile, details of the wellness facilities aboard Crystal Grace, Crystal’s first newbuild ship in 25 years, have yet to be confirmed. But Mickan did share that wellness will be a “very big focus” of the vessel’s design and that the popular promenade deck will remain.
